Barbara A. Barr of Lincoln, RI, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her husband Richard A. Barr, her mother Lily Albert, and her father John Albert.

Barbara leaves three children, Scott (Joyce), John (Sharon), and Lynda (Joseph). She was also the loving grandmother of Richard, Katelyn, Luke, Sofia, William, Andrew, and Scott Joseph.

She is also survived by her sisters, Josephine Catone and Christine Shabo, brothers Ronald Albert and Edward Albert and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was raised in Pawtucket Rhode Island and was a proud graduate of Tolman High School, where she met her loving husband, Richard, they were married for almost 58 years.

Barbara worked as a branch manager for such institutions as Pawtucket Savings and Trust for over 25 years. She knew each customer by name and was a favorite of the locals who used to stop in at the bank on Front Street in Lincoln. Barbara was always there to lend a helping hand.

She will be missed for her fine Syrian cooking, rolled grape leaves, stuffed squash, and meat pies. She was proud of her Syrian heritage and the closeness of the community.

Barbara loved the shoreline, spending time in Newport/Middletown with Richard and her family. She loved the beach, music, art, cooking, and reading People Magazine and tabloids.

Safe travels Barbara, we loved you and will miss you dearly. You are now wra pped in God's arms.May God Bless You always.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI on Wednesday, April 17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm . A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 18 at 10:00 am at St. Ephraim's Church 215, Washington St. Central Falls RI
